Following the massive global success of its award-winning predecessor, SCi Games Ltd is pleased to announce the pan-European release of CONFLICT: DESERT STORM II for PlayStation 2TM, XboxTM, PC CD-ROM on 19th September 2003 and Nintendo GameCubeTM shortly after.
CONFLICT: DESERT STORM II focuses on the events of the 1991 Gulf War, and follows the activities of Bradley, Foley, Connors and Jones 300 km further behind enemy lines; taking the level of gameplay and realism to new heights, with a story-led campaign across a variety of missions, beginning with an urgent call to rescue a downed UH-60 Black Hawk's crew in a heavily fortified city, and ending with the allied endeavours to liberate Kuwait City.
Also re-launched this week is the Official CONFLICT website at www.conflict.com which features all new CONFLICT: DESERT STORM II content such as screensavers, wallpaper, screenshots and music and a host of other features such as FAQs, the story so far and hints and tips on playing the CONFLICT series of games. There will also be a variety of monthly sponsors who will be offering some fantastic prizes for registered users of the site, including STORM watches, SOLDIER magazine subscriptions, BUSHNELL Night Vision goggles, CREATIVE MP3 players and HIGH & WILD adventure weekends, amongst other prizes.
The game will be supported by heavyweight lifestyle, national and specialist press print advertising, outdoor and cinema campaign and a host of third party initiatives. Plus a major consumer and specialist PR campaign.
Conflict: Desert Storm II, the sequel to the award-winning 3rd-person squad combat game of 2002, has unprecedented realism and depth and is a careful balance of fast paced action, stealth and tactical warfare. Here's what the press are starting to say:
