World War II classic title Call of Duty demo available.
WWII shooter Call of Duty will rank amongst the best games ever made.
Call of Duty is an intense first-person action game transporting fans into a gripping, movie-like World War II combat experience, as seen through the eyes of ordinary soldiers, enduring as a squad the chaos of battle.

Well, what do you know, another World War II classic game is about to parachute in on us in coming months.
I've just downloaded and played the demo of Call of Duty, this absolute gem of a game and, as you've probably already gathered, I'm bowled over by the feel and look of it. Classic atmospherics generated by top shelf graphics and lush audio bed this babe deep into warm bits of your self. Developed by many of the team responsible for Medal of Honor, CoD is a marked progression in the, now well established genre of WWII first-person shooters. Developers Infinity Ward have cut no corners in its creation, hiring Hollywood screenwriters, actors and top classical composers to craft an exquisite piece of gaming history.
The download takes you through an assault on a small French village in the earliest stages of the Allied assault on Europe at the end of the Second World War. The player gets to use several basic weapons, such as the Garand rifle and the Thompson sub-machinegun. The feel of the weapons, whilst firing, is solid and the accuracy is realistic. The only probelm with the download is that it is just not long enough.
Now enough of my ramblings, here's a few words from the developers themselves and, unlike the pathetic PR spiel of many gobshites in the gaming world, you can believe every word of this: "Call of Duty is an intense first-person action game transporting fans into a gripping, movie-like World War II combat experience, as seen through the eyes of ordinary soldiers, enduring as a squad the chaos of battle.
"Created by Infinity Ward, which is comprised of over 20 individuals who developed Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, including all the production leads, Call of Duty places gamers in epic battlefield scenarios, featuring scores of soldiers and incredible special effects. Players journey through 24 devastating missions played out through three Allied forces – U.S., British and Russian, all fighting together to defeat the German-led Axis war machine.
"Along the way, gamers experience the camaraderie and brotherhood of a squad, where each soldier has unique duties, personalities and roles to play as they take on Nazi Germany."

This one is gonna rock yo ass big time,
Deko.
