METAL ARMS: GLITCH IN THE SYSTEM WILL HIT THE SHELVES ON NOVEMBER 28TH, 2003 - (GC PS2 Xb)

Paris, France October 17th, 2003 – Vivendi Universal Games announces today the up coming release of a new franchise Metal Arms: Glitch in the System on PlayStation®2, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube that will be available at your local videogame retailer on November 28, 2003.

Awarded best shooter game at E3, Metal Arms is an addictive 3D action shooting experience which combines upgradeable weaponry and innovative "possess your enemy" tactics. The game will not only guarantee to deliver hours of shoot em' up fun but will also feature the voice of two-time Emmy award winner Dan Castellaneta. The renowned voice of Castellanetta, who is recognized as the voice of Homer Simpson, provides the voiceovers for the robot characters Agent Shhh, Krunk and Hosed.

Action-packed gameplay.
Located on the outer rim of a distant galaxy is a planet with deep secrets and a mysterious origin. This is Iron Star, a world inhabited by a society of robots.

During a disaster in the science lab, a sinister robot with a mind of its own was created - the evil General Corrosive. After eliminating his makers, this powerful machine began to fulfil his dream of creating the ultimate army. As Glitch, the gun-slinging, half-ton menacing bot of Droid City, travel under, and above Iron Star, through a vast mechanical world with over 40 missions including sniping, sneaking, puzzle solving, non stop shoot'em up action and mini-games added to the mix.

Total control.
Found as scrap metal, but transformed into destructive machinery, Glitch is determined to free his people from the evil clutches of General Corrosive and his maniacal army.
He has at his disposal 17 deadly weapons than can be upgraded or stolen from enemies each along the way. And thanks to the incredible Tether Gun, 'Glitch' plus 10 other friendly and enemy 'bots can be played and possessed - even Bosses!

You can find Glitch and his army available worldwide on the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, the XboxTM video game system from Microsoft, and Nintendo GameCubeTM, this November with a 12+ rating.
